Rene LAFLEUR Our most elusive ancestor is certainly Rene LAFLEUR. Since there are many Rene Lafleurs in the St Landry Parish in the late 1800s we are having touble determining which one he is. These guys were all over the newspaper for wild reasons. It would be amazing if you have any clarity on any of the ones that were around town.

Looking for The Grave of Leontine Sturlese If anyone knows where the Leontine Sturlese might be buried, we would love to know. She was married to Aurelien Montie at the time and had a child named Edmond Montie. Her parents were Joseph Sturlese and Clarisse Archer. We would have expected to find her grave at St. Eugene Cemetary in Grand Chenier, Louisiana but have had no such luck. We would also love a photo if there is one to be found.
Tell us what you know | More information: Sturlease, Leontine Emma
